The compass shows wrong direction +
Make sure you granted location permission in Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Detect Metal. Also, try moving away from large metal objects or electronic devices that can interfere with the magnetic sensor.
The metal detector is not calibrating +
Place the device on a flat surface away from metal objects and tap CALIBRATE. The baseline reading is set at that moment. Any metal nearby after calibration will be detected as a delta.
The spirit level seems off +
The level uses the gyroscope. Make sure you are holding the phone flat. If readings seem off after a device restart, iOS may need a moment to calibrate the motion sensors.
Does the app work without internet? +
Yes. All three tools (metal detector, compass, spirit level) work entirely offline. No internet connection is required or used.
Does the app collect any of my data? +
No. The app does not collect, store or transmit any data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
